Chanel Singuliere 673

Hello there! Tonight’s post is coming to you from the lovely north-west of Tasmania, Australia. This is my former stomping ground before moving south to Hobart in 2010. I’m here visiting family for Easter. I’ve brought a swag of nail polishes with me but I thought it might be nice to post a polish I’ve been meaning to since I wore it in the New Year – it’s Chanel Singuliere 673. This is my first-ever Chanel polish and it was very kindly gifted to me by a friend when I did her and her bridesmaids’ nails for her wedding. Let’s take a look!

This is such a me colour. Looking at my stash you’ll notice I’m a sucker for these burgundy-purple-red colours. I mean, who isn’t though? Singuliere 673 is from Chanel’s Rouge Allure Collection, which I believe was a limited edition that came to Australia late last year. I have no idea if it’s still available, as Chanel is so expensive here in Australia I just look at it from afar, ha ha.

The formula was wonderful and very, very nice to apply. With two coats I got a super shiny effect, but I’ve read Chanel polishes are notoriously chippy so I added a top coat of Seche Vite, too. I felt very posh wearing this polish and very “grown up”. I was so relieved to know the cap is removable so the brush holder is a lot easier to use. I was also happy with the brush, albeit a bit thin.

So what do you think? Have you tried any polish from Chanel? Oh, and have a wonderful Easter, preferably with lots of chocolate! 😀 Thanks for reading!
