Beauty Attitude Envy

Hello! Today I have another Beauty Attitude polish to show you; I wore it over the weekend and it was quite nice actually wearing such a ‘green’ green, if you know what I mean. The polish is called Envy, after the saying green with envy I guess. While I enjoyed wearing the polish, I did find once when I wore it for a bit and used some hand cream, the polish became a little thin. I’m not sure how this works as obviously the polish is dry, but I just noticed some patchy areas suddenly on my nail. Interesting, yes?

Also I just want to apologise for how rough the clean-up is around my cuticle area. When I was doing it I was in a bit of a rush.

Envy is a green creme, which reminded me a bit of Revlon Posh, but when I compared the two Envy has much more blue in it so they’re not dupes at all. I got great coverage with two coats, but I think it would be worthwhile doing three just in case.

Uncomplicated colours like this really make me feel like I’m fashion-forward when I’m wearing them; like it’s a bit more special than a pink but less pretentious than some nail art. Sometimes I feel nail art’s a bit try-hardy, especially if it doesn’t go to plan, like a lot of my stuff, ha ha.

DETAILS

  • Where to buy: Target
  • Cost: AU$3
  • Volume: 12ml
  • Coats to opacity: Two

So have you picked up any of the Beauty Attitude polishes yet? While this one was a bit funny on, I still think it’s worth picking up some for a cheap fix. Let me know what you think. Thanks for reading!

Beauty Attitude Pink Frost

Hello! Tonight I have a really pretty pink creme polish to show you, again by Beauty Attitude. As I said yesterday, Beauty Attitude polishes can be found at Target stores only, I think.

Pink Frost is more than just a pink creme though. It has this purple shift to it that’s so subtle that it’s hard to describe. You see it best in artificial lighting, but I got an OK shot of it in its bottle below in natural lighting.

I’ve used two coats to achieve what you see here. Again, like the last Beauty Attitude polish, the formula was perfect. This one was not as quick to dry as Mint Candy, but it was still pretty good!

And here below is the picture I took of the polish in natural light where I think it caught the purple shift a bit in the bottle.

See it!? There in the middle of the bottle? I told you it was subtle.

So, what do you think of Pink Frost? I like the twist on the pink. Let me know what you think below. Thanks for reading!

Beauty Attitude Mint Candy

Hello! Today I have a really nice polish to show you, which can only be bought at Target I believe. I’m not sure if it’s a Target-owned brand or if it’s only exclusively distributed to Target stores; the label on the bottom just says ‘DIST BY DEVCOS INT.’

Anywho, Beauty Attitude Mint Candy is, as the name suggests, a mint creme that has a really gorgeous finish. I don’t know how to fully describe it, but it just dries nicely. Flat but shiny, fast but not too fast. It’s almost like the perfect formula and it’s also cheap! AU$3 a pop. I have worn it with two coats.

I really loved wearing this colour. I know there are many mint polishes, but for me this was the perfect mint with the right amount of blue in it.

  • Cost: AU$3
  • Volume: 12ml
  • Coats to opacity: Two

I have since picked up three more Beauty Attitude polishes from Target. They are Mystic Blue, Envy and Pink Frost. Keep an eye out for them soon! In the meantime, what do you think of Mint Candy? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
