I love taking inspiration from other bloggers, so when I saw these designs by Mari Lumme I knew I wanted to copy them! And the best thing of all is, I had a Dance Legend I bought in a destatsh I wanted to try, so below I’ve recreated Mari’s second look using Dance Legend Royal Blood from the Sparky Collection.

Sadly, my lines aren’t as sharp as Mari’s, but from a distance it looks OK! πŸ˜€ I just love how simple it is. And all I did was apply Royal Blood with a nail tip guide and then use BYS nail art striper in black for the lines – too easy!

Royal Blood is a deep red jelly with a scattered holo. It’s very pretty on and I’m so glad I got around to finally wearing it. This is just two coats as well, so you can see it builds up quite nicely. If you leave it at one coat it definitely looks more squishy.

What do you think? You may also notice my black line is not-quite-centre on my ring finger… oops. Still gotta practice my striping skills. Thanks for reading!

  1. I love how the stripe down the center really makes the look more striking. I think I may actually try this. Thanks for the inspiration!

    • I agree! You should definitely give it a try. I’m also envisioning a similar design but with more stripes over the polish. I think that would look good too.

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
