Hello there. Another polish from the vault of my computer’s desktop today: Empty Journal by Emily de Molly. As you can see, it’s a rather gorgeous polish (even for not blue fans like myself) so why I kept pics away for so long… goodness only knows, really.
Empty Journal is a bright blue foil with blue to purple shimmer, which you can see in the macro above. I received so many compliments when wearing this polish. Everyone wanted to know where it came from – I reckon I generated a lot of sales for Emily de Molly the days I wore it! Well, it felt like that anyway. Formula-wise, it was easy to apply and manageable. I was careful with application otherwise I found it did tend to leave some brush strokes, so nice and slow is best. This is two coats with a top coat of Seche Vite. Also – no staining once I removed it! It’s so great to wear such a potent polish without it staining for once.
- Where to buy: Emily de Molly or Emily de Molly international
- Cost: AU$10 or US$9
- Volume: 12ml

So, what do you think of Empty Journal? I know for some the fact it’s a shimmer will turn people off, but I actually like the look of it. Thanks for reading!
