Hello! I’m bringing you an oldie but a goodie tonight. Old in that I believe it’s a discontinued Femme Fatale Cosmetics polish and good in that it’s really gorgeous. The polish is Abyssal Reflections. I’ll give a disclaimer now, though: I rush applied this ages ago and think it would have been better with an undie. So it’s still a bit sheer looking at the tips in the following photos. But I figured you could still see its gorgeous-ness, so read on!

Abyssal Reflections (although a green polish) had been on my wishlist for ages and I was lucky enough to get my bottle in a destash sale. What you see is three coats with two coats of Seche. It really could have used another coat of top coat, but I thought that was getting to the ridiculous stage. Formula-wise this is a thick, goopy polish that is a little difficult to apply, if I’m being honest. Because it’s so jam-packed with glitter it’s just so hard to get it smooth. It’s a green jelly with turquoise, teal, green and holo glitters of various sizes. It’s really beautiful and I do think the end result outweighs the awful application. I’m definitely trying as a one coater over an undie next.

Needless to say, you need to remove this baby with the foil method. In all my moaning and groaning about this polish I really do like it and am glad I have it in my stash. Plus, I think Femme Fatale Cosmetics polishes are getting harder and harder to find nowadays without buying them in the presales that are monthly, so I’m double-glad I have this one. Thanks for reading!

  1. I love that colour! I’m a big fan of glittery nail polish… Just not the process of removing it!

    • Yeah it’s an awesome colour and I love how glittery it is as well, it was that combo that was so enticing to me. I have to be in the mood to wear a glittery polish like this because of the removal!

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
