Hello! I’m bringing you a new love tonight – Sally Hansen Glitter Bomb from the Red Carpet Collection. I really like this collection, but so far this is the only polish I have bought from it. Hopefully the pictures convince you to buy it, too!

Glitter Bomb is a beautiful gold shimmer base with lilac hexes. It looks so nice in the sun! I’ve teamed one coat with two coats of Ciate Sugar Plum and a top coat of Seche *swoon*. I like how this all seems to just work. Glitter Bomb has a very nice payoff, with one stroke providing great coverage without fishing. You could build this up to be opaque – probably three dabbed coats to get it two what it looks like in the bottle – but I think it works well with a base. I’ve seen other blogs try it with a darker base and that has worked nicely as well.

DETAILS

  • Where to buy: Priceline and Chemist Warehouse
  • Cost: AU$9.95 (on special at Priceline)
  • Volume: 14.7ml
  • Coats to opacity: Glitter top coat, so use an undie! Otherwise probably three dabbed coats

So what do you think about Glitter Bomb? While I do like the name, I feel it doesn’t “go” with the polish, like it needed something more regal. But that’s just me. Thanks for reading!
