Evening! I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the essence Good Girl Bad Girl Trend Edition has hit the shelves of Priceline. There are eight polishes with different finishes to choose from, four being “good” and the other four being “bad”. Tonight I’m bringing you Caught in the Middle from the “bad” side. Before I show you the photos, I just want to let you know I think the label on the polish is wrong. It says it is “leather effect” but I think it’s meant to be the “snake effect” that’s on Once I Was An Angel (a pink creme that’s also from the “bad” side). Searching other blogs has confirmed this for me, with many others thinking the same thing as well, because I will tell you now, I don’t think this polish has a leather effect at all! But a snake effect would be more appropriate. Check out the pics and you’ll see what I mean.
Caught in the Middle is hard to describe for me, so I will do the best I can! It’s a charcoal black base with iridescent flakes and various multi-coloured tiny glitter pieces… and I think it has a textured effect. So what you see here is two coats of Caught in the Middle without top coat. This is a really complex polish that I’m glad I bought. Sometimes I think black is too basic but this adds a little something more, while still being moody (in my opinion). It was easy to apply, but for the first coat just wait until it’s semi-dry before going in for the second coat otherwise it creates bald patches.
Now, I was curious to see what this polish looked like with top coat so here it is with a coat of Seche:
Wowza! I think I like it both with top coat and without.

Have you seen the Good Girl Bad Girl Trend Edition about? Tried any of the other polishes in the collection? I like the look of It Wasn’t Me! (glitter effect) but haven’t bought it yet. Thanks for reading!
