Evening! Tonight I bring you a polish I recently bought in a destash sale: Emily de Molly Frail Promise. I bought it with a handful of other indies, including my first KBShimmers, so I can’t wait to show them to you as well. Like a lot of polishes I’ve been buying recently, I’ve wanted Frail Promise for a while now, but every time I bought some from the Emily de Molly store it always managed to miss my cart. And just as a treat, below are also a few pics of the geometric design I did on top of Frail Promise, too, so keep on reading!

Frail Promise is a really beautiful light grey with a sprinkling of neon pink, black, white, gold and mint glitters with a subtle gold shimmer, which was such a nice surprise when I put it on. Application was a cinch; what you see here is two coats with a top coat of Seche. The glitters are a reasonable size so I didn’t have any problems getting them to lay flat or the fishing for pieces when applying.

  • Where to buy: Emily de Molly
  • Cost: AU$10
  • Volume: 12ml
  • Coats to opacity: Two

I really wanted to highlight the mint and neon pink in this polish, so I used Australis Sweetpea and MODE Love Me to create a geometric design on top of Frail Promise. The lines are courtesy of my black KISS branded striper (so annoying it doesn’t have a name!). I like the “random” result, but if I were to do it again I think I would make the geometric print smaller to match the delicacy of the polish.

And of course when I applied top coat (Seche) it smudged a little, even though I waited for it to dry! Still, I can claim that as intentional, can’t I? πŸ˜‰ Thanks for reading!
