Golden Rose 105 from the Jolly Jewels Collection

*Nothing to disclose

Heya! Today I bring you one of my exotic Golden Rose polishes I bought last year in Europe… I think this specific one came from a Golden Rose store in Skopje, Macedonia. Ahh, how I remember walking up to the Millennium Cross in the snow and rain – good times! The name of the polish is actually a number, 105, so to classify it I’ll also add it’s from Golden Rose’s Jolly Jewels Collection. I think it’s the Australian coming out in me when I say “jolly jewels” and can’t help but giggle.

105 is a sheer purple base with large green hexes and smaller purple hexes. It’s a brilliant combination. What you see here is two coats of 105 over one coat of Sinful Colors Cupid’s Arrow with a matte top coat. I opted for a matte top coat because while I didn’t have any problem with application, the glitters do tend to poke up a bit and I find matte really makes it appear flatter. Also, who doesn’t like matte over glitter? Cupid’s Arrow and the base colour of this polish go together nicely, too, I think.

If you’re looking for this polish in Australia you can find it on eBay (I found a bottle for AU$4.50 with AU$4.50 postage), otherwise I definitely suggest you travel to Europe and grab a bottle. πŸ™‚ I would love for Golden Rose to be sold in Australia; the few Golden Stores I went to were brilliant and just jam-packed with all kinds of nail polish with lovely service – nothing I’ve experienced before. Thanks for reading!
