Hello! It’s good to be back blogging after such a long unannounced hiatus. To get back into the swing of things, I just wanted to show you some nail art I wore last month that I thought turned out alright – inverted half moons. Pretty much meaning I used chevron tape the “down” way rather than the “up” way – the pictures show what I mean!

I used essence Be Berry Now! and then the silver striper from my Kiss striper set. For the area where there’s no coloured polish, apart from using a chevron tip guide , the only thing I did was polish with base coat and top coat like usual. You could probaby used a nude if your fingers are stained. You will see some silver specks from the silver striper I used that I just couldn’t get off my nails! Grr.

I really liked this look. Half moon designs have always intrigued me so doing it inverted was a bit like “woo, look what I can do”. Not that I invented it or anything, but it’s new for me. I’ll see you later in the week, yay! Next time with a longer post. Thanks for reading!

  1. Yay! I’m glad you’re back :-D. I really love how essence manages to bring out some lovely polishes, and yet they’re so cheap. It makes it so much easier to try new colours and styles. Oh, and I love this design! It’s just different enough without being too out there, if that makes sense? And again, glad to have you back!

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
