Hello! Yesterday I showed you four polishes I bought from Face of Australia’s latest collection called Screen Siren: No Angel, Isn’t it Delicious, Some Like it Hot and Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend. Well, I decided to do a quick post tonight to show you some nail art I did with all the colours, one of my favourite techniques called watercolouring, where you essentially dilute the nail polish with acetone and paint it onto your nails. Admittedly, this is not my best watercolour – I wanted the Screen Siren colours to be a bit more prominent rather than blend together in a smoosh like they did – but I still really like it! I also added black square studs (from essence’s Dark Romance stud set) on my ring, middle and pointer fingers.

I used No Angel as the base and layered Isn’t it Delicious, Some Like it Hot and Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend on top with a top coat of Seche.

Actually, I am impressed with the variety of colours that came from just three coloured polishes – very pretty if I do say so myself. What do you think? Let me know. Thanks for reading!

  2. Sorry! Meant to say that it sounds like an effort to do this ‘watercolouring’.

    • Not at all, it’s really fun and simple, just a few colours (I would say at least three) and a bit of acetone. There are some good tutorials about it.

  3. I only tried this for the first time recently and really enjoyed it! I love your multi-coloured look and the black studs are the perfection accent!

    • Thanks; it’s a really fun look! My first watercolour was still my best I think – I did it ages ago – but I got so many compliments and questions about it.

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
