Hiya! I have a quick post tonight to show you a gorgeous Emily de Molly I wore last week called The Fifth Element. Emily de Molly is a wonderful Australian indie polish company, it always has such a reliable formula. The Fifth Element was perfect in two coats – you’ve just got to love that! I’m also wearing one coat of Seche on top.
The Fifth Element is an almost teal base with red and blue hexes throughout with a sprinkling of iridescent glitter. I love how when you layer this the red and blue hexes look sandwiched and squishy. It reminds me of the sea for some reason, when really it should probably be reminding me of the film The Fifth Element, given its namesake (I’m not sure if this was intentionally named after the film).
As you can see, I loved taking photos of this polish! I think it’s great for this time of weather when there needs to be something bright about. I always love wearing colourful nail polish in the cooler months.
- Where to buy: Emily de Molly
- Cost: AU$10
- Volume: 12ml
- Coats to opacity: Two
I thought The Fifth Element was one of Emily de Molly’s discontinued polishes, but it turns out it’s not! So you can still buy it if you like. However its creator, Hayley, will be taking an undetermined amount of time off to have a baby soon so the shop will be closed for a while. It’s open until the end of this week if you want to buy something. Thanks for reading!
