Myer Miss Shop All Right Archie!

Hiya! Tonight I bring you a glitter top coat from Myer Miss Shop called All Right Archie! In Myer I’ve usually skipped the Miss Shop range of nail polishes because they’re typically cremes. Well, not this time around. They’ve got a few glitters now and All Right Archie! was one of them so I picked it up. I also picked up another polish called Anton’s Angels, which is more of a pink shimmer, but more of that in another post. What you see below is one dabbed coat (yes! I know, the glitter pay off is awesome) over two coats of essence Free Hugs. I then topped it with Revlon Matte Top Coat, which I hadn’t used until now, and it’s a pretty decent matte top coat I have to say. I really like the look of glitter with matte, I think it’s something to do with the glitter seeming to be “trapped” in the matte, if that makes sense.

Ahh, so pretty. I probably don’t need to state it, but All Right Archie is a clear base with small pink, red and purple glitters, large gold and silver diamonds and gold and silver hexes. Since the glitter pay off is so good, it looks a bit complicated without being so in real life, ha ha ha. Although not a thick top coat, the matte top coat worked fine in terms of being smooth once dry; the glitters aren’t difficult to manage at all. Removal was a cinch to with the foil method for about three minutes.

  1. Wow, that is a LOT of glitter for one coat, I’m super impressed. And NO annoying sticky out bits is awesome. If only all glitters were like that, sigh. Looks like a great glitter topper.

  2. Hi there! I know it’s been a while since you posted this but I was wondering if you got the chance to try Anton’s Angels and how you found it? πŸ™‚

    • Hiya! I did try Anton’s Angels. Here’s a link to my IG where I showed a pic: https://www.instagram.com/p/sg8tbIRZed/?taken-by=drydammit In terms of how I found it, yes, it was pretty, but it was a little too sheer for me. I liked the foil-like finish – that’s what attracted me to it – but the formula was definitely a let down. It seemed to not like sitting at the free edge of the nail! I think the Myer Miss Shop brand has some better polishes than this one. I hope this helps you. Haylee πŸ™‚
