Hiya! Today I just want to quickly show you an accent nail I wore last week with my new 2mm round studs from eBay. I bought two new Essence polishes, Free Hugs and Nude Glam Cotton Candy, and while they’re not “new” I had been eying them off for a while in their display. I decided to buy them when I noticed the Essence stand at my Priceline had changed tickets so that some polishes were half price – Cotton Candy being one of them. (Good news! This means new Essence polishes are on the way!).

Cotton Candy is a pink-leaning creme nude polish; on my skintone it looks very pink. I teamed it with Free Hugs on my ring fingers; a bubblegum pink creme. I used three coats of Cotton Candy and two coats of Free Hugs to achieve what you see here. As usual, the application was perfect and I am in love with the Essence brushes. So easy to use and wide! I decided to place the studs in a kind of sideways diamond and I really like the look of it. (I actually recreated this look on my mum’s nails over the weekend – I will show you very soon!). I placed the studs with a wax pencil, also bought off the ever-wonderful eBay.

I really liked this design. It was a bit simple, a bit fun and bit girly all in one. I wouldn’t mind trying Cotton Candy on all my nails and seeing what it looked like, it’s a nice nude but it’s not nude enough, if that makes sense. I need more nudeness in my nudes! Ha ha. Thanks for reading!
