Dry, Dammit!

A nail blog by an impatient polisher

BYS Ladies That Lunch

*Nothing to disclose

Hello! I have another BYS polish to show you today that I wore ages ago so you’ll still see the cut on my ring finger. This is Ladies That Lunch, another great colour from the Neon Pastels Collection.

Ladies That Lunch is a lavender frost. What you see is two coats, but I probably could’ve used three as it’s still a bit sheer, especially when outside. When applying it, it does go a bit streaky because it is so frosty. Depending what your top coat is like this can be reduced, but you may still see some brush strokes, which is a shame because otherwise it’s a nice polish. I’ve done a Google search for the Neon Pastels Collection and from the limited information I can find about, I find it odd that this frost has been included because the others are all cremes. I’ve shown you Prima Ballerina from the collection but I don’t own any of the others.

This is a really pretty polish, but I am disappointed by its streakiness. Still, it’s so cheap how can you complain!? I quite like the colour of it as well, very work acceptable.

  1. Such a shame about it streaking so easily, as it’s a really pretty polish. You’re right though, it’s a good polish considering how cheap it is.

  2. Ohh yeah, such a pity about the streakiness. The colour is really gorgeous! Reminds me of opals 😀 Definitely a weird addition to a neon collection. Hahahaha, but it is really pretty! Love the purplish tint it has 😀

  3. I love neon pastels so I’m going to have to pick this up – it looks great on you!

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
