Australis In the Navy

Hiya! Today I bring you a lovely polish from an Australian brand called Australis. It’s called In the Navy and it’s a beautiful navy creme with a slight shimmer to it, which can be best seen when out in the sun. I found In the Navy in a clearance bin at my local Priceline, it’s in an older bottle that’s square and I don’t think Australis make these bottles anymore. I am glad I found In the Navy though, it’s really a gorgeous navy creme and if you ever stumble upon it I say buy, buy, buy!

The formula of In the Navy was beautiful; very easy to apply and perfectly opaque in two coats. Also, when I removed it, there was no horrible blue staining around the edges of my nails and on my cuticles! I was very happy about that as staining is a huge pet peeve for me with blue polishes.

And here is a better picture of the blue shimmer in the polish: *drool*

  • Where to buy: Priceline
  • Cost: AU$7.95 (that’s the usual price for Australis polishes, but I think you’d find these cheaper in clearance bins)

I really love this polish! It’s quickly become my go-to navy. Plus it’s the one of the few times this winter I’ve worn a season-appropriate colour. Thanks for reading!

  1. Well that song is gonna be stuck in my head all day. This is a gorgeous colour. Somehow navy seems very grown up, like the mature sister of goth black. Maybe that’s just me though.

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
