Hello! Tonight I want to say a big thank you to all my followers! I have recently cracked the 50 follower mark on my counter to your right and I think I have reached about 15 through Bloglovin’. That is amazing; thank you so much for reading about my adventures in the world of nail polish. It’s nice to think other people feel the same way.
Today I bring you another polish from The Lady Varnishes. It’s Not Fair! is a pale greyish crelly with large and small hexes in pink, blue, white, copper and iridescent purple. It’s from the You Have No Power Over Me Collection, which is based on the movie Labyrinth.
It’s a very pretty polish; I really like the amount of glitter in the mix as well as the colour combo. What you see on my nails is two coats. I did unfortunately find this polish a bit thick and difficult to manage. It seemed to self-level well though, but you definitely need a good thick top coat to smooth it out further. You can see it’s a bit bumpy in the photo below even though I had Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat on.
Once again, the polish comes with a beautiful little charm. I like to keep mine on my bottles, but if you order four or more polishes in one order, you receive a free silver or copper chain to turn your charm into a necklace. It’s the little things like that that I love about indie polish makers, it’s just so thoughtful!
- Where to buy: The Lady Varnishes
- Cost: AU$8.88 (I bought mine a few months ago and since then there has been a price rise recently 😦 and also the falling Australian dollar now makes it AU$10.39!)
- Volume: 15ml
- Coats to opacity: Two
I would love to buy more The Lady Varnishes polishes – a collection about the movie Return to Oz has been released – but since its recent price hike, I can’t justify it. Such a pity. Still, I have one more polish from The Lady Varnishes to show you so that will have to do for now. Thanks for reading!
