Hiya! Over the weekend I stopped by Sportsgirl to see if it had any new polishes. Turns out I must psychic as it had four new polishes that I could see. I got two, Speckled Lilac and Speckled Mint, as they were creme bases with glitter in them, while the other two were clear bases with glitter. The one that I remember is just your average multi-coloured glitter in a clear base. As you can tell the other two weren’t groundbreaking.

But the two I did get are really lovely. Today I’ll just show you Speckled Lilac. It’s only going first because it’s purple, ha ha.

How pretty is it!? I love the shade of purple, it’s definitely on the spot with the name lilac. As I mentioned before, Speckled Lilac is a purple creme base with multi-coloured square glitters of blue, red, yellow and green and teeny tiny purple-ish/pink-ish iridescent glitter. In the photo above the polish looks a bit matte, but I can assure you it’s sparkly when in the light. I used two coats to achieve what you see here.

In some ways, this is an odd polished to be released in winter as it’s such a summer colour. But I love wearing colour during winter, it shakes things up so much, especially at my workplace. Oh, and removal was a cinch too with this, the little glitters didn’t stick at all.

So, have you been in Sportsgirl recently? Notice any other new polishes? Let me know what you think. Thanks for reading!

  1. Did you see any bottles of Volcanic Sparks left when you went in? These are all lovely!

  3. This one reminds me very much of my favourite christmas treats with its violet frosted sugar and plenty of sprinkles…

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
