Dry, Dammit!

A nail blog by an impatient polisher

The Lady Varnishes Let Him Go

*Nothing to disclose

Hello hello! Today I have an indie polish to show you. The Lady Varnishes Let Him Go is a beautiful baby blue creme with fine blue and gold glitters. The idea behind all of The Lady Varnishes polishes is that they’re inspired from TV and film. Let Him Go is from the Because You Listen Collection, which is based on an American TV show called Wonderfalls. I’ve never heard of it though. I think is such a beautiful blue colour, but you be the judge!

Once again I had to take some photos at work, seeing as it’s so dark in the morning now it’s winter. I actually had a co-worker see me taking photos and asked what I was doing. I told him about my nail blog and he thought it was good that I had a hobby. I was quite happy with that as I thought he might think I was a little weird for taking photos of my fingers.

Oh, you also might have noticed the charm on the bottle. Every polish from The Lady Varnishes comes with a beaded charm. I’ve kept mine on the bottle but you could even put in on a bracelet if you like. If you order four or more polishes in one order, you receive a free silver or copper chain to turn your charm into a necklace. I only ordered three polishes, so I just missed out, but if you like collecting charms then this would be a great idea as the charms are very pretty.

I only had to use two coats to achieve what you see here. And I also have to say, the formula was great, very easy and manageable. I also tried this polish with a matte top coat and as you can see it looks quite good! See below.

Along with Let Him Go I also purchased two other The Lady Varnishes polishes; Always Dreaming and It’s Not Fair! I’m excited to try these out. Let me know what you think of The Lady Varnishes polishes, have you tried any of them? There’s such a great range to choose from! Thanks for reading!
