Hello! Tonight I have to show you some fun nail art – M&M’s on my fingers! After reading about The Cuteberry Nail Challenge I decided I wanted in. The Cuteberry Nail Challenge is a 31-day nail art challenge where you recreate your favourite things on your nails. Every day is different and the first day’s theme is dessert or candy.
I have always wanted to do M&M’s nails. I know they’ve been done before but they look like such fun! Also, M&M’s are really my favourite lolly. It was either M&M’s or eucalyptus drops I used to love when I was little. However they are just plain white lollies and I thought that would be a little boring.
OK… so the Ms are a bit pugly but I am really happy with how I marked off the curve so well. I freehanded the Ms. I did do a first version of these nails where I didn’t do the curve and it looked terrible! The Ms looked like they were part of a horror film. Also, looking this close at the nails, you can see that where I put top coat on top some of the polish has dragged! Why can’t polish dry faster?!
This what I used to achieve my look:
- Thumb: Ulta3 Exotic Canary
- Pointer finger: Revlon Posh
- Middle finger: Max Factor Candy Blue
- Ring finger: Essence Fame Fatal
- Little finger: Ulta3 Tangerine Tango
So, what do you think? I’ve decided I’ll do the nail art challenge probably every second day. Day two’s challenge is drink or cocktail, so I better get brainstorming! Thanks for reading!
