Happy Sunday! Today I have the rest of the swatches for you from my What’s In-die Box? I received earlier this week. In my previous post I showed you Alanna Renee Lenny that was part of What’s In-die Box? Click on the link to find out more about it in my past post.
For now though, all you need to know is that What’s In-die Box? is a collection of five Australian indie nail polishes following the theme of Toy Story. It’s very clever what has been thought of!
Glam Polish Ahhhh… Aliens!
Ahhhh… Aliens! is a blue creme base with small white, purple and blue polishes and large green hexes. I’m wearing the above without a top coat. It looks beautiful on! Only two coats; I found it so simple to apply. A great formula from a brand I’ve never tried before.
Sorry about this photo! I didn’t realise it was blurry until I was downloading my pictures! 😐
Love Thy Polish How Do You Spell FBI?
This is my least favourite from the What’s In-die Box? I think it’s just because I find dark green ugly for some reason. I’ve tried Love Thy Polish before – and the formula has been great – but this one was a disappointment. It took three coats (without top coat) to get what you see here and I think it could still even use a fourth coat. It is a sheer green base with tiny green glitters and large green hexes.
Lilypad Lacquer Stretch for the Stars
Yes! Another purple holo. How weird I have receive two in one week when before that I had none? And because of that I can’t but help compare it to Emily de Molly Devotion. Stretch for the Stars is a beautiful purple holo, which is less blue than Devotion. It also has less of a holo effect I found. In the above pictures it goes Stretch for the Stars in normal light, Stretch for the Stars with flash, Stretch for the Stars in normal light and Stretch for the Stars in normal light where you can see a hint of the holo. This is two coats (without top coat) and I found the formula to be wonderful; no balding at all when the second coat was applied.
Peita’s Polish Hello! I’m Trixie
Hello! I’m Trixie is my second favourite from What’s In-die Box? (my favourite being Alanna Renee Lenny). It’s a really beautiful bluey-purple base with tiny purple glitter, large purple square glitter and lilac hexes. It’s just really fun. This is two coats and it applied perfectly.
So that’s What’s In-die Box? It’s a great idea, hey? I think I’m going to order next month’s too. Let me know what you think. Thanks for reading!
