Nail art tape and stamping nail art

Good evening! Today I have to show you some nail art I added to my Ulta3 Fruit Punch manicure from yesterday. I wanted to do something a bit different yet simple, which I think I achieved.

I used plate 006 from Vivid Lacquer (a peacock-inspired design) and stamped Mode Cosmetics Glitzy Glam onto Fruit Punch. I then cut up some small pieces of gold nail art tape and stuck it to my nail. I thought I did a good job with applying the nail art tape – as when I’ve done it before it instantly starts peeling back – but the next day at work the tape started to peel! It was very annoying. I just had to remove it as soon as I got home.

The design kind of reminds me of a Chinese pattern, I think because of the red and gold combination.

Have you tried applying nail art tape to your nails? Apart from applying a top coat, is there anything else you do to keep the tape stuck to the nail? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for reading!
