Dry, Dammit!

A nail blog by an impatient polisher

Emily de Molly Harmony

*Nothing to disclose

Hello! This evening I have a lovely Emily de Molly polish for you. I’m a big fan of Emily de Molly polishes, I have quite a few. However Hayley has just released a few holographic polishes that I really want but haven’t bought – yet!

Anywho, Harmony is a beautiful grey creme with large matte white hexes, lavender, small purple and turquoise hexes and a very fine holographic glitter. Application was perfect in two coats. I wore this today when I participated in the City to Casino – an 11km fun run held in Hobart, Tasmania.

  • Where to buy: Emily de Molly
  • Cost: AU$9.50
  • Volume: 12ml
  • Coats to opacity: Two

This is such a beautiful polish to wear. I think it’s such a testament to indie polish makers that they create polishes without curling glitters, while the big companies still continue to release polishes with glitter issues.

So what do you think of Harmony? Let me know below. Thanks for reading!

  1. I really like the color of that one with the flecks through it, it’s pretty.

  2. I think I’ve really developed a thing for these pretty pale polishes with gorgeous glitter and hexes. So very pretty. I actually like that it’s the indies leading the way with glitter. So often it’s difficult for the small guys to make a dent in the market, but by being better than the large companies, they’re proving that there is a place for them.
Oh and I hope you had fun at the City to Casino. I really admire you for doing that, not just because it’s for charity, but because of it’s 11k! That’s a long run!

    • I did have a lot of fun, but I would have been better doing it without a cold, ha ha. However it was the perfect day for it. I agree with you about the indies; I think they’re definitely providing something the bigger companies can’t, especially with their customer service.

  3. This is stunning. These colours are so pretty and feminine without being girly-girl.

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
