Hello! Today I have Ulta3 Lilac Bloom and Ulta3 Over the Rainbow to show you. I loved wearing these polishes together. Since reaching the 200 mark of polishes I have decided to start swatching them on nail sticks and in doing so I’m able to see what my nail polish really looks like, rather than just in the bottle. And I have to say I have always overlooked Over the Rainbow – until now. There are heaps of photos because I loved the look so much!

Lilac Bloom is a pastel purple creme from Ulta3’s Spring 2012 Collection. This is two coats. I did find the formula a bit watery though. Over the Rainbow is a multi-coloured glitter in a clear base from Ulta3’s Get Your Glam On Collection over the 2012 New Year. It features blue, yellow, red and purple hex glitters and tiny blue, yellow, red and purple glitters. It sounds simple, but as you can see it is incredible on. This is two coats.

I added a matte top coat and I think this has just made the glitter look that much better! Ah, nail love.

DETAILS

  • Where to buy: Terry White Chemists
  • Cost: AU$2.00
  • Volume: 13ml
  • Coats to opacity: Two (for Lilac Bloom)

I can’t wait to try Over the Rainbow over more colours, I think it would work with a lot of colours, but I’m especially liking the pastels with it; it makes the glitter pop more.

Let me know what you think below. Thanks for reading!

  1. Oh wow, this looks great! Over the Rainbow looks like a fantastic glitter, and I do love a purple. It never would’ve occurred to me to use a matte top coat, but it looks amazing. Thank you for showing how well that works!

Please leave a comment! I read every one and always reply.
