Love Thy Polish Drained & nail art

Good evening! Today I have a really stunning indie polish to show you by Australian indie label Love Thy Polish. It’s called Drained and it’s an intense red glitter polish in a red base. You can wear it without a polish underneath, but I used Revlon Knockout (which is black) just to make it a bit more deeper for my liking.

I really enjoyed wearing this polish. The red glitters make it more than just another dark polish; when in the sun they were very glittery, if that is even a word. The formula is terrific, it just glided on and was very easy to clean up. I bought the smaller bottle of Drained, which is 8ml, so the brush is pretty basic, but it still is fine for application.

See the glitter goodness above!? I thought the sun glint on my pointer finger was picture perfect, if I do say so myself. Because I loved this polish so much I decided I wanted to do some nail art over it, and of course with me working a bit longer at work recently I wasn’t able to sit down properly and do something ‘big’, so I simply added some French tips, which I am including as nail art. He he. And they’re not ‘just’ French tips, they’re quite chunky too. For the tips I used Essence Fame Fatal, which turned out a lot more darker than I would have liked, to be honest. But maybe that’s because of the darkness underneath?
