Good evening! Tonight is a quick post as I really want to get stuck into doing some nail art on my nails afterwards. I have Max Factor Deep Grey to show you, a beautiful blackish-grey creme that that has some gorgeous silver-looking shimmer in it that really sparkles in natural light. I must admit, I have surprisingly fallen in love with this shade, I like how it is a dark polish but has that shimmer in it to make it less intimidating.

Just looking at the picture above I realise how I need to put some cuticle cream on! Sorry about that. Nevertheless, while this went opaque in two coats, I found the first coat really hard to apply, it just seemed to pull a bit as I applied it. Maybe I put on too little polish? Once the second coat went on, it was smooth sailing.

I tried to capture the sparkle in photo above, but the picture really doesn’t do the polish justice.

I wore this polish to work with no problems. I actually think it’s pretty sophisticated without verging on being a goth. As soon as I put it on I knew it would be the perfect base for some nail art! Who’s knows what crazy things I’ll do?

  • Where to buy: Priceline
  • Cost: AU$5.95 (but I got mine for AU$2 on clearance, woo!)
  • Volume: 5ml
  • Coats to opacity: Two

Well, I’m off to do that nail art, which will be in my next post. Thanks for reading!
